You may be surprised to know that I am 58, and have been a rock fan since I can remember. I am a big Status Quo fan. I think Supergrass are a really good band and hopefully will be with us as long as Status Quo have been. Have all their albums, I particularly like Life on Other Planets a very good uplifting album, which makes a nice change from some of the dreary stuff around today.
My husband had the album playing as I entered the room, you may be very surprised to know, I thought it was T.Rex, I couldn't believe how much Gaz sounded like Marc Bolan, especially on ZA and Seen the Light. Please take this as a compliment as to me Marc Bolan was a very talented singer/songwriter who has been sadly missed.
My husband and I going to Wembley on Saturday, we will probably be the oldest rockers there, really

The Wembley gig was amazing!!! I had loads of fun, I did get to the front but then I was pushed back to the second row of people, when the Datsuns came on (Sob). But it was still cool. And am I the only fan who knows the chorus to 'The Loner'? I'm also very sorry for my crazed behaviour and screaming.

last time i went to a supergrass concert i only saw them play caught by the fuzz. I was sad for a very long time. But happines has come back to me since i bought tickets for their concert on the 14th of april in Paradiso.

(thanks for the autograph after the show Gaz) nice weather too huh? i couldn't leave my house for 3 days. good thing i had the memories of the Supergrass show to keep me warm. The Albert Hall gig was cool. I was in the circle area which I was slightly peeved about (I keep wanting to call it the circus for some reason). But it didn't stop me from making lots of noise, singing along and shouting for Richard III. Then today I was hanging round London (seeing the sights, feeling...stressed with sore feet because I walked 8 miles). The I was stuck in a car for 3 hours listening to my mum trying to sing along to Supertramp and Roger Daltry songs, it was really funny.

Supergrass are playing a gig at Reading Uni tomorrow night and are supported by the band I manage, Sounder. Check out Sounder on www.sounder-online.com.
The reason I'm writing on the guestbook is that my band have been asked to play acoustically or pretty much leave out the drums as there is a Shakespeare play on outside and it might upset them if it was loud! What do you guys think about this and would you be happy seeing a support act who were asked to change their set last minute? Thanks.

Just wanted to say that I saw the show you guys gave in Goffert park, Nijmegen (Holland) and I thought it was great! I already knew your music but after seeing you guys live, I thought the music was so great I now actually have three cd's.
One reason why you've got style:
Even though people started running on the stage to protect the instruments,you all kept playing while it was raining! Hearing 'Moving' while we were all standing cosy under one umbrella gives a great feeling...Thanks for the show!

I just got back from the concert in San Francisco tonight and it kicked ass! Supergrass played for over an hour and a half for their sold out audience. I was standing right in front, just inches away from Mick, and the show was outstanding! The band played just about all of their songs from their latest album including my two favorites, Grace, and Rush Hour Soul. They also played some of their earlier material including Late in the Day, which was a crowd pleaser. Brilliant! Gaz seemed to be in very good spirits as he wailed away on his guitar and took time out between many of the songs to talk with the crowd. This was by far a better concert than when I saw Supergrass in May of 2000. They've really come a long way since then. I look forward to seeing Supergrass next month when they open for Radiohead

I saw Supergrass at Witnness Irish Festival 2003 and managed to shout to Gaz and Danny as they were standing the closest to where i was in the crowd.
What a blinding performance to remember!!
I was singing along, as were the other 40,000 people in the crowd!

Heeeeyy guys!! Your gigg at Goffertpark (Holland) last month was VERY VERY great. It was rainy but that didn't matter you guys, you played along and it was a very good performance by seeing that standing under my umbrella! You guys have the greatest band in the world. Please come to the US and take over all of the radio stations! I'm sick of hearing all of this cliche and unoriginal American crap music.
